Volunteers

The Site Council is a group of elected parents and staff members who develop and approve the Single Plan for Student Achievement, which is a comprehensive plan for the school that addresses strategies for all students to meet academic standards and the safety needs of all students.  The Site Council monitors the resources to implement the plan, continuously reviews its implementation, and assesses its effectiveness by reviewing student data.  The academic portion of the plan focuses on the school's efforts to provide instructional support and intervention for students who are working below standard in reading and/or math and on the needs of the English language learner (ELL) and gifted and talented (GATE) students.
